On Monday this week I was very pleased to meet with WASPI campaigners from South West Norfolk. I had the opportunity to listen to their stories about how the pension changes and the lack of notice impacted them and their families. I explained my views on this issue and that I recognised the injustice that had occurred and supported compensation for those affected.
At Norfolk Full Council on Tuesday I had the opportunity to ask the Leader of the Council whether she agreed with me that WASPI women should be entitled to compensation and I am delighted to say that she did.
This is an issue that I will continue to support if elected as the next Member of Parliament for South West Norfolk.
